RoHS Compliance
ICE Technology has put into place a plan of action to comply with the RoHS 2002/95/EW directive. The following is the details of this plan in regards to the equipment that Nohau® supplies as a Development Tool Vendor. The banned materials under this directive are lead, Mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl, and polybrominated diphenyl ether.
Paint: The paint used for the enclosures is lead-free based paint.

Ink: White in color Assembly of PCBs: Use of LEAD free solder for both first and second assemblies. III. Components & Integrated Circuits (ICs): All parts purchased for Assembly Kits starting on May 1, 2006 will follow the Directive on outlined in the ECO dated November 21, 2005. Elimination of the
use of specific Hazardous - Two such examples are: One impending regulatory
action that is expected to have far reaching consequences is the European
Union Directive 2002/95/EC1. This Directive on the "Restriction of
the use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment"
(RoHS), requires that such equipment must not contain the following chemicals:
IV. Power Supplies - Third party vendors: All vendors of the power supplies used by Nohau® have either already complied with or undergoing changes to comply with the RoHS directive. Along with the CE, and WEEE directives.
